TFB recognizes that our users, especially new customers, have questions about process, procedure, and implementation. Whether your area of responsibility is in telecom, IT, or management, we recognize your need to plan resource allocation, keep your organization informed, and stay on top of the schedule.
From purchase, to installation, to production, TFB provides information to new users and project managers along the way.
Working With TFB
The partnership between TFB and our users allows us to understand our customer's business and provide better, more individualized support. Be sure to let TFB or your dealer know what the most important schedule dates are, and any special information that you need throughout the project.
Pre-Installation
Ensuring smooth installation starts with an exchange of information well before your system is installed on site. TFB representatives should be included along with your dealer in kickoff meetings and conference calls so we can best understand your expectations and articulate the installation process.
Well prior to installation, we also need to ensure that we have the right information to configure your call flow and complete any customization requested. We must have information that covers these general topics:
- Call flow
- Database access information (for integration)
- LAN security policies and rules
Installation
As a middleware provider, TFB relies on the proper installation of surrounding systems. The ACD must be installed before TFB can complete installation. We also require a few pieces of information from your IT staff:
- Network address of the switch
- Network address databases for integration
- Direct remote access to CTI Server via VPN or Modem
Your switch vendor provides us with all the details regarding pilots and switch parameters.
If you have questions
Because we understand the kinds of pressure that our customer contacts can experience during implementation, TFB encourages open communication throughout the installation process. TFB has a track record for smooth installations, and the project manager for your site is always open to address your questions or concerns.
