TFB Partners with Nuance for Speech Recognition

By partnering with Nuance, TFB is assured its call center and computer-telephony applications are built on the latest and best in speech technology.

As a leading developer of computer-telephony solutions, TFB builds packaged and custom applications that benefit significantly from text-to-speech and speech recognition. The partnership means TFB has standardized on the Nuance Open Speech Recognizer (OSR) for recognition, and Nuance RealSpeak for text-to-speech. TFB has already released TFBSpeech Attendant v 1.0, a turnkey auto attendant platform with built-in speech recognition capability. Leveraging TFB’s established auto attendant system, Speech Attendant uses the very latest in standards-based speech technology from Nuance.

TFB and Nuance both emphasize support for industry standards and open architecture.
